Layla is a celebrity trainer and group fitness instructor at Barry’s Bootcamp and SLT (Strengthen -Lengthen -Tone) where she creates all of her own unique routines. Layla also teaches some of her signature kickboxing classes at various locations throughout NYC.

With over 19 years of martial arts training and a third degree black belt in karate, Layla Luciano is known for her high-intensity, high-energy, exhilarating workouts. Being born and raised a vegetarian, a healthy lifestyle has always been a way of life for Layla. From a very early age, Layla excelled in physical activities including gymnastics, basketball, softball, boxing, ballet and hip hop. A true athlete, Layla’s personal fitness continues with her current training in aerial silks, salsa dancing and boxing.

As a certified elementary school teacher, Layla has also shared her passion for fitness and the importance of building healthy bodies and lifestyles to public schools around the city. She has developed and taught curriculum for after school and enrichment programs, including karate, latin dance and other fitness classes to grades K-6.

Through her strong motivation, enormous energy and sassy personality, Layla gives her clients the drive to be the best version of themselves, not only helping them improve their body but their mind and spirit.
